This week was basically test review and trying to get all of the information in before the test on Monday. On Tuesday we did the "Carnival". We went around the room and answered a series of questions in our note books (BEST CARNIVAL EVER!!!). There was a review on Thursday but only a few people came because it was the day after the helicopter fly in and nobody bothered to check Mr. Finleys webs site.
Things I Learned at the Review
-Transparent means most or all of the light passes through it
-Translucent means some of the light passes through it
-Opaque means almost no light passes through it
Videos/Pictures
The light does exactly what we think it will do. Which is reflect and refract.
If you look very closely you can see that the light reflects off the inside of the glass prism. Mr. Segen made this picture into one of the carnival activities but he flipped it.
This is the video of the slinky, it represents how the waves move.
